Line 1:
I'm just ploughing ahead with these grammar terms, despite the fact that they are very much an active subject of contention. I think it's important that the wiki maintain consistent terminology across its articles discussing grammar, but I'm less certain of what that terminology should be. :At this point I went digging for sources and I wanted to pull out Andre Martinet and De Saussure, but those are from a very particular school of linguistics that not everybody subscribes to. While I want to avoid over commiting myself, it is helpful for me to have this glossary here as I work on the articles. Again, peer review is necessary. The other problem is that of referencing these entries. I would love it if we could define key words that automatically get linked to their entries, so that every appearance of "optative" automatically is a hyperlink to the glossary. In org mode they're called "radio links", but I don't know whether there's a mediawiki equivalent. [[User:JPeton|JPeton]] ([[User talk:JPeton|talk]]) 05:25, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
