neja glyph[edit | edit source]

Why does the glyph for "neja" have 3 circles inside of a poki radical if it clearly means "four"? I know it's apparently unknown who coined the glyph, but has anybody ever discussed the topic of why that glyph contains 3 circles and not 4? How do neja users justify this? Not an answer, but it's not unclear who made the glpyh. The notes on linja sike from lipamanka say

neja will be a poki with three hollow vertically-arranged dots (from the creator)

so it's from jan Inwin. As for neja users, there aren't a lot... I wouldn't be surprised if they use the glyph design that neja shares with po: it looks like the number "4". Jan Ke Tami (talk) 00:35, 3 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
