lipu pona (good article) is a label of recognition for thorough, well-written articles. An article is a content page in the main namespace, so redirects and userspace essays do not qualify. The main page features a blurb from a random lipu pona.
Criteria
These criteria are based in part on Wikipedia's good article criteria.
- Completeness: The article is complete within reason. It covers all relevant topics. It has a reasonable level of detail. No maintenance templates are applicable or used.
- Writing: The article is well-written in standard English. It is reasonably focused and understandable. It is helpful in explaining the topic to learners.
- Formatting: The layout and formatting of a standard wiki article are used. Markup and templates are used according to the formatting guide. The article follows web accessibility guidelines.
- Attribution: The article uses any applicable copyright template. Sources are cited, or attributed by linking to an article on the source (for example, descriptions of Toki Pona: The Language of Good can link to its article, although a citation with page numbers is preferred).
- Accuracy: The article reflects community consensus. Descriptions of specific styles of Toki Pona use the appropriate template.
- Illustration: The article uses media where feasible. Media thumbnails are captioned.
