Passive voice

From sona pona, the Toki Pona wiki
English Wikipedia has an article on
passive voice.

The passive voice is a grammatical construction in some languages, where the subject of the sentence is the patient of the verb. In Toki Pona, this is arguably possible with intransitive predicates (those without the particle e), but not in transitive predicates, where the object is the patient. It may also be discouraged in favor of more direct sentence structures.
