Should we include insults on this page? I almost feel like if we'd like an insults section on this wiki, we should give it its own page? jan Sowi 15:44, 22 February 2024 (UTC)

Unsure what the point would be. There are infinitely many possible insults, and an acceptable insult seems difficult to define (more down to social context than content), so it doesn't seem very constructive to host an article for people to add their own. That seems like it would be a more useful resource for trolls who find the language mockworthy than for Tokiponists. (And besides, there is the Uncyclopedia article…) Menasewi (talk) 22:27, 24 April 2024 (UTC)

I think it'd make sense to make a page for TP. You get "pakala" which is commonly used as a catch-all insult, so seeing as there is a way to insult in Toki Pona, making a page for it would make sense. There is literally a page for "worldbuilding" (which, by the way, is the least wiki-like page I have ever seen and should be baleeted for lack of objectiveness). Also, as for the "mockworthy" and "trolls" part, you could just learn to ignore the trolls (one of the rules of the internet is "don't feed the trolls") and/or make the theoretical "insult page" locked so that only certified people can edit it. -jan Meso 86.190.72.126 22:22, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
