the question of "what was the shift in {{tp|pali}}'s use over the years and is it still used in other communities" is likely something that cannot be answered by us just yet, but by actively studying other communities outside of {{tp|ma pona}}, similarly to how {{tok|kala Asi}}'s thesis compared pre-{{tp|pu}} and modern toki pona.
