I'm comfortable adding jan Pije's lessons to external resources, but others may feel differently: jan Pije Lesson 11 --JPeton (talk) 19:29, 22 February 2023 (UTC)

Is it worth adding the description of pi as "rebracketing?" Typically, the parentheses are used as a way of showing the effect of pi (as in "tomo pi (telo nasa)") rather than as a definite way of defining what pi does and how it works. --JPeton (talk) 03:03, 9 November 2023 (UTC)

"pi" isn't "ki"
On second thought, I'm not actually sure that kala Tonyu's example here is necessarily a case where "wile" is a preverb. jan Kepe's is unambiguously an example of what this section is about. I (Peton) have at various times considered this usage to be directly erroneous, but that doesn't mean it isn't common or without its own merits. Perhaps some example of "jan pi alasa e waso li lon ma kasi" sort of thing should be found, where an "e" is used within a "pi" phrase. I think people agree that that's erroneous, and its correspondingly uncommon. JPeton (talk) 05:19, 14 November 2023 (UTC)

:Revision https://sona.pona.la/wiki/pi?oldid=6317 removes this example, presumably because the example was perceived to be erroneous or of usage too far outside the standard to include in sona pona. JPeton (talk) 20:38, 13 January 2024 (UTC)
