On 22 February 2024, {{tok|waso Keli}} brought up the idea of reducing {{tok|Linku}} categories to aid their adoption by teachers. After several weeks of community discussions, {{tok|[[jan Kekan San]]}} [https://github.com/lipu-linku/sona/pull/56 updated the dictionary], bringing the category count down from six to four.
