sitelen pona pona: Difference between revisions

 

{{tp|sitelen pona pona}} also has different punctuation standards, officially using [[sitelen Lasina|Latin-script]] punctuation like periods and colons. {{tp|[[a]]}}, {{tp|[[o]]}}, and {{tp|[[seme]]}} are redesigned to look very different from the exclamation point and question mark, and thus both are used, often side-by-side. <strong>This is confusing if carried into {{tp|sitelen pona}}</strong> because {{sp|seme}} looks exactly like a question mark; see [[sitelen pona#Punctuation|{{tp|sitelen pona}} &sect; Punctuation]].

 

{{tp|sitelen pona pona}} also introduces a baseline to the characters, inspired by Latin writing traditions, whereas {{tp|sitelen pona}} characters are vertically centered.
