Can we not link sources directly to discord?

Can we not link sources directly to discord? As someone who is banned from ma pona, it would be better if we link images of messages so that people who don't or (can't in my case) want to join the servers can still the sources. Gtbot2007 (talk) 18:24, 13 January 2024 (UTC)

linking to images often is way too much trouble and also comes with the issue of not being very accessible to some. what I try to do at least is quoting the authors and also using links outside Discord. SnpoSuwan (talk) 18:29, 13 January 2024 (UTC)

This feels to me like a very general problem: how to handle citing discord for future folks who may not have access to it? (Maybe because ma pona closes, discord closes, archived messages are purged, and so on). JPeton (talk) 16:25, 14 January 2024 (UTC)

“Be messy”

imo we need complete meaningful articles, not one-sentence stubs. after all this can give a wrong impression about this wiki. plus that also highly decreases the wiki’s depth. Enky (talk) 19:43, 8 June 2024 (UTC)

it would be fine if sona pona was a larger wiki, but it isn’t. a lot of articles are created, and then forgotten about. as of the date this message was posted, there were 145 pages in category:stubs and 653 in total. thus one in every 4.5 (!) pages is a stub. most of those stubs are articles, whose scope are actually important things. yet instead of helping to expand them, we’re creating articles about obscure words mentioned once or twice. i’m sorry if i’m phrasing this rudely, that wasn’t my intention. i often try to help with expanding significant articles, but not many people do the same as me. in fact, looking at special:recent changes, almost every entry is from a very different article. and most of those articles are those that have already been big and well-written before!
