Line 20:
The standard sitelen pona glyph for epiku (), as featured in the Esperanto translation of the book en, is derived from the glyph for pona (pona), with emitters.

The obsolete glyph for epiku depicts an arrow pointing upwards (). It was included in version 4.9 of linja pona. This glyph is more often used as a directional variant of ni (ni), and may cause confusion if used to write epiku. However, it is commonlystill used as in communities both inside and outside of ma pona pi toki pona.
