English Wikipedia has an article on
stress.

In Toki Pona, the first syllable of a word is always stressed. For example, in the word sitelen, the syllable si- gets the stress. Toki Pona: The Language of Good clarifies that stress can be realized as loudness, length, or higher pitch.[1]
