I would like NNP to get its own page separate from NNAI because it's actually used in practice, and it has more details and examples than makes sense to fit into a tiny subsection. I think NNAI should like to the NNP page under the NNP section - --jan Deni (talk) 16:31, 28 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

I'd like to adapt what I did on Wikipesija and add in the templates - the issue with the templates is that I am always unsure about what logic exists in the Wiki. Jan Ke Tami (talk) 16:43, 28 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

"12 345" example[edit | edit source]

I'm not following the "12 345" example.

Should it read 12,345?

If so, where is the "tu" by itself in the thousands

@Tanpo Wanpo the space is a common way to separate thousands, particularly outside of the US and UK. here is it used to avoid confusion with the decimal separator. about the numeral 2, you may have misunderstood it. as base-100, it is useful to think about converting from Arabic (decimal) numbers to nasin nanpa pona as grouping numbers by twos, so then: 1, 23, 45. and then converting it to toki pona: wan, mute tu wan, mute mute luka. and finally adding ale in between: wan ale mute tu wan ale mute mute luka. hope this helps! jan Juwan (talk) 20:31, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
