I'm comfortable adding jan Pije's improved lessons to the external resources, but others may feel differently. jan Pije's Lesson 9 --JPeton (talk) 19:39, 22 February 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Imperative, optative

Typically these are presented as separate uses, or in the main case people present the optative as an imperative without sina. Should these be under the same heading or consolidated as they are now? JPeton (talk) 16:55, 22 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Technical terms

This is a general question for the wiki as a whole: should we favor the Latino-Greek grammatical terms (optative, imperative, vocative) or English descriptions of function (wish and desire, command, calling and addressing)? JPeton (talk) 16:56, 22 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

The way that the article uses the grammar term and immediately defines it in more familiar terms seems good. Maybe that order could be flipped within teaching-focused articles like this:

o is used to express a command or instruction, which is formally called an imperative.
