With {{tp|[[a]]}} ({{sp|a}}) and {{tp|wile}} being the first and last {{tp|[[nimi pu]]}} in [[alphabet]]ical order, the start and end of the [[Source:Toki Pona: The Language of Good/Hieroglyphs|list of glyphs]] in {{pu|en}} resembles {{w|alpha and omega}}.

In a variant of this glyph ({{sps|wile2}}),{{wh|created by whom?}} the upper ends are connected to form an upside-down heart, a mirror image of {{tp|[[pilin]]}} ({{sp|pilin}}).
