lipu Wikipesija is the official Toki Pona edition of Wikipedia. As of August 2023, it contains 1,859 pages, of which 150 are dictionary pages (written in toki pona taso). It also used to host 2 informational pages written in English:Where is Toki Pona used? and The history of Toki Pona. In September 2022, it gained the official status of the official Wikipedia of Toki Pona.

History

lipu Wikipesija started out as an official edition of Wikipedia (tokipona.wikipedia.org), but was moved to Wikia (now Fandom) in 2008, as the language was deemed too impractical by Wikimedia staff. It was then moved to its own server and domain, wikipesija.org, in April 2021.
