nu (synonym)
nu is a content word and synonym for sin, presumably derived from English "new". It is listed in nimi ale section 1b alongside nuwa, meaning "newer".
The words appear in nimi Elemenopi's r/OffThePu project, where they were given sitelen pona glyphs based on emitters, with nu resembling a dotless seli (seli) and nuwa resembling lotus majuna (majuna2). Additionally, nu is notable for colliding with a reserved word in Toki Pona Dictionary. However, both words seem to be in disuse.
