The{{tp|sipi}} predated {{tp|[[sitelen pona]]}}; a glyph forwas later{{tpwh|sipiwhen?|date=2024-04-09}} proposed{{wh|by whom?|date=2024-04-09}} so that it could be used in the writing system. The proposed glyph ({{sp|sipi}}) is a circle with an attached arrow pointing to itself, somewhat reminiscent of the other pronoun glyphs.
