The ukakelo system is an experimental alternative color system created by soweli Kina to match deuteranopic vision and, by extension, Protanopic vision.[1] uka covers the red–green range, and is derived from the words uta and kasi. kelo covers the blue–purple range, and is derived from the words kule and telo.[2]

The suntakewe system is an experimental alternative color system coined by namako Kolisin in 2024 for tritanopia. sunta covers the red range and is derived from suno and uta, and kewe covers the blue range and is derived from kule and sewi.[3]

    as for tritanopia, I think something like this can work:

    :nimisin: sunta — tritanopic color grouping, roughly seen as reds, pinks, and magentas, and roughly covers the perception of the wide range from warm violet, red, orange, and yellow

    <- toki pona suno + uta

    :nimisin: kewe — tritanopic color grouping, roughly seen as cyan, and roughly covers the perception of the range from green, blue, and cool violet

    <- toki pona kule + sewi
