Etymology Edit
The word jasima is derived from Turkish yansıtmak, meaning "to reflect".[1] The avoidance of a more direct tokiponization (jansima or jansuma) is unclear. It was coined by jan inwin, jan Kisinja, jan Maliku, and jan Wesu in 2018, according to the Toki Pona Dictionary.[2][3][better source needed…]
