in Linku and fonts with ASCII transcription, despite predating the content word by several years.
Etymology Edit
The word we is derived from colloquial Mexican Spanish güey, meaning "dude, guy"; Linku compares this to the use of English man as a "sentence tag". It was coined by jan inwin in 2019.
