Toki Pona Script
Toki Pona Script, sitelen Enli[citation needed], or sitelen pi toki pona (✎ ⟄ ᑈ ☺) is a pre-pu Toki Pona writing system created by Henrik Theiling and dating to at least July 26, 2006[1]. A sitelen Juniko system, it uses a single Unicode character for each word, largely consisting of dingbats and mathematical symbols,[2] and can thus be used to compress text. According to Theiling, jan Sonja "approved this proposal and said she liked it."[3]
Names are written in the Latin script.[4] Toki Pona Script also allows several punctuation marks: the Latin comma (,), period (.), semicolon (;), colon (:), exclamation point (!), and question mark (?), and the CJK double angle brackets (《 》) as quotation marks.[3]
