lonsi is a joke word used in ma pona pi toki pona, having no set meaning.
The earliest mention of the current word lonsi was in 2023, although there were previous mentions of lonsi likely unrelated to the current word.[1] It may have originated as a typo of the word tonsi, or a portmateau between it and lon (as an interjection meaning "true! I agree!"). The word spread through repeated mention of it in the #kama-pona and #toki-pona channels, mainly by monsuta Kijana and (a)kasi Aliki.

penpo is a joke word referring to the toki pona taso event in ma pona pi toki pona and bot which runs it; they are respectively tenpo penpo and ilo penpo. The word penpo is a corruption of the word tenpo, referring to the time-frame of this event, and named this way for the amusement of rhyming tenpo.
