isipin is an obscure content word and nimi ku lili relating to thoughts.

Etymology[edit | edit source]

The word isipin is derived from Tagalog isipin,[a] meaning "to think of". It was coined by ko in 2020.[1][2] Other proposals included words from Georgian, Hawaiian, Japanese, Macedonian, Mongolian, Somali, Spanish, and Uzbek.[3]

The semantic space of isipin includes rational and philosophical thinking, in contrast to sona, which refers to knowledge, and pilin, which refers to emotional thinking.[4][5]

    (yeah, i know, i'm just defending myself in the future so no one yells at me) about isipin, using other words like "sona" don't work because sona means you know it as a fact, and you aren't unsure about it. "pilin" cannot work either because pilin is used for emotional situations, and not philosophical actions, such as imagining, remembering. "sona lili" translates to understanding a little bit and i think it doesn't show any skepticality as isipin does.
