Etymology
The word linluwi was coined jan inwin in 2017 and is derived from Welsh rhyngrwyd, meaning "Internet", itself from rhyng- ("between") and rhwyd ("net").[1][2] The Welsh term is a calque of English Internet.
Semantic space
The semantic space of linluwi includes the Internet and things relating to it. By analogy, it also includes the concepts of connectedness and weaving.[3]
