wekama is an obscure content word relating to temporary absence with the expectation of returning.

Etymology

The word wekama is a portmanteau of the Toki Pona words weka and kama, roughly meaning "away" and "coming", respectively. It was coined by jan ko[1] in July 2020.[2]

Semantic space

The semantic space of wekama includes anything that first applies to that of weka, then later in time counts as kama.

sitelen pona
