This is a list of marginal words in the ... usefulquotes document[1] that are not discussed elsewhere on this wiki.
The original definitions of these words, as copied onto ... usefulquotes, are notes saved to a bot on the ma pona pi toki pona Discord server. For the definitions section of the document, jan Pensa only copied notes for words not present in the nimi ale pona dictionary, which, at the time, could be accessed through a bot command named ,pu on ma pona.
The words not listed on this article (awase, eki, jonke, kijete, kosan, molusa, natu, oni, pika, suke, tokiponito, toma, yutu) are present in other notable resources such as Linku. Thus, some of them may be more recognizable, although they vary in usage and recognition.

kolo is a marginal post-ku word for pigs.
Etymology[edit | edit source]
The word kolo is derived from several languages, including Swahili guruwe, Zulu ingulube, Kongo ngulu, Spanish guarro and gorrino, Japanese ゴロゴロ (gorogoro), and English grunt. kolo was coined by soweli pi loje walo on 1 October 2021, originally as koro[4] but changed to fit Toki Pona phonology shortly after.[5]
sitelen pona[edit | edit source]
The sitelen pona glyph for kolo (kolo) depicts a pig, viewed in profile.[6] In the original glyph, the pig is seated, with the legs matching those of the glyph for kijetesantakalu, and the outline is also broken at the tip of the ear. kolo was added to the Fairfax and sitelen seli kiwen fonts in February 2024. There, it is redrawn in an upright position with a full outline, a mouth, and a curly tail. In both versions of the glyph, only one eye dot is drawn, unusually for animal words.
